Merry Christmas to all of you. It has been a while since I last posted. Life, like for so many of us, was crazy busy with work up until a couple of days before Christmas. May this be a blessed day, a cherished day for you. We have so many things to be grateful for in this life. I hope that today, you make time to be close with those you hold most dear to your heart. That’s not always an easy task. Distance and circumstance sometimes prevent us from being with those we hold closest. But for those within our reach, go get them. Let them know exactly what they mean to you. The small happy moments in life are God’s way of showing us the extraordinary possibilities for an amazing future. Fall on your knees, oh hear the angel voices. Oh night, divine. These words are exquisite. Christmas……such a holy, holy day. Whether you believe in God or not, I do. So for me, today is a day of hope…..a reminder of why we are all here. There is something greater planned for us and we just need to put our hope into the right place. As I sat in church yesterday, singing my heart out with joy and love for a life so blessed, I couldn’t help but be overwhelmed with gratitude for the life I’ve been given. I am so incredibly blessed. How lucky am I to have my two grown sons home for Christmas. I cherish these moments together. I know the holidays may be hard fo so many. Split families, lost loved ones, financial hardship…..all of these things seem to be magnified during the holiday season. Yet, I’m also reminded that even through the hard times, we have much for which to be grateful. As hard as it may be to balance all of the responsibilities of life, for those we truly care about, we make time to see them, especially on these special days, to let them know what they mean to us. Obviously we can’t do that when different states are between us and those we love so much. But, look around, see your circle…..even those who aren’t proximally close…..facetime is an amazing invention…..and in person, well, that’s the best. Hug your loved ones, especially those with whom you’re building your life. I pray that all of you find peace, love and happiness during these special moments, but also with every small happy moment throughout the year. Extraordinary is possible….you just need to place hope, effort and love into the right spots! Merry Christmas from my family to yours!
